Dear Respondent,

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond to this survey.

The aim of the survey is to collect views to inform a discussion in the International Association of Maritime Universities (IAMU) about sustainable development practices in maritime higher education institutions, in particular, the membership of IAMU.

Your contribution is very important and highly appreciated. It is our hope that you will participate in this work with a view to adding your voice to the ongoing discussion of the notion of sustainable development and its place in maritime education and training.

Responding to the questionnaire should take approximately 25 minutes. You are free to pull out of the survey at any time.

Apart from a few demographic responses, all the questions in the survey are optional.  Should you encounter a question you are unable to answer, we encourage you to leave the question blank and continue on with the remainder of the survey.  However, we have tried our best to have possible answers for every respondent and we hope you will complete the survey in full.

The questionnaire is anonymous (with respect to individuals).  All information will be analysed and presented in aggregate. The data collected will be stored in a secure database for analysis and used only and strictly for the research reports associated with the survey. Such research reports will be available to you through the Secretariat of the IAMU.  Your consent to undertake the survey is implied by your proceeding with responding to the questions.

Collection of responses to this questionnaire will close on Saturday, 29 February 2020.

The research team, on behalf of IAMU, thank you very much for your interest and for your response to this important work.
