The following survey is part of a study that investigates awareness about emerging digital technologies (e.g. artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things), data collection, and data risks. This is part of a research project funded by the Dutch government at the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
The goal is to better understand how lay people perceive and assess their relationships with modern digital technologies and the organisations that offer them.
The survey covers 5 sections:
-Data Literacy Basics
-Awareness of Data Collection Devices and Services,
-Experience with Digital Devices and Digital Services
-Awareness of Data Collection and Data Risks
Completing the 44 questions takes ca. 25 min. The collected survey data are completely anonymised.
