Designed for parents and caretakers of children/teens with Selective Mutism, these one-hour guided group sessions are facilitated by Faith Logan, B.A., under the direction and supervision of Dr. Elisa Shipon-Blum's evidence-based Social Communication Anxiety Treatment® (S-CAT®) for Selective Mutism. This group will meet weekly to discuss topics and share experiences of parenting a child with SM such as separation anxiety, fears/worries, difficult behaviors, eating, sleeping and toileting issues, advocating for your child, school-related challenges, parental self-care and more!
These sessions are $10/session and you can choose to participate in as many or as you like. Please note that families who successfully crossed the Social Communication Bridge® followed up consistenly so ongoing support is recommended.
Your child/teen is not required to have a formal diagnosis of Selective Mutism to participate and learn from this group. If you'd like to learn about SM and the evidence-based treatment we use at the SMart Center (S-CAT®), please considering watching this free webinar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55yX2XarRxg
