Why do I need to fill out these forms?
The information you provide on your TD1 and TD1ON allows Camp Mini-Yo-We to deduct the correct amount of income tax from your honorarium. The government requires these forms be completed when an employee:
- starts a new job;
- needs to change previously claimed amounts; or
- wants to increase the tax deducted.
I did this last year—do I have to do it again?
It depends! If you don't have any changes, then confirm you do not need to submit new forms after completing the personal information section below. If you have changes, use this tool to fill out new forms.
How do I know if my tax credits have changed?
Since you last completed a TD1 and TD1ON for Mini-Yo-We, have any of the following changed:
- Earning more than the basic personal amounts?
- Marital status?
- Having a dependant?
- Paying for your post-secondary tuition?
- Receiving a pension?
- Being over age 65?
If so, follow the instructions below to fill in new forms.
Can I leave lines blank when I don't have anything to claim?
Yes! However, be sure to:
- Complete the personal information section below.
- Enter the amounts on the first and last lines of both forms.
- Select "Yes" on both forms if your total income for the year from all employers is less than the basic personal amounts, so we will not deduct tax from your earnings.
What should I do if I have more than one employer in 2025?
If you already completed TD1 and TD1ON forms for another job (i.e., you claimed personal tax credits with another employer), do not claim them again. If your total income from all sources will be more than the tax credits claimed on a previous form, click "Yes" for “More than one employer or payer at the same time” and enter “0” on the final total claim amount.
