HFA Awards Nominations

Each year HFA recognizes the service of a few very special volunteers who have stretched above and beyond.

We invite you to submit a nominee for the following HFA Awards.

DEADLINE: Friday, March 3, 2023. The board will vote after nominations are in.

Terry Lamb Health and Wellness Award - Award for exceptional commitment to supporting HFA in its national efforts to encourage health, nutrition and wellness behaviors in the bleeding disorders community.

Michael Davon Community Service Award - Award for extraordinary service to the community via one's national or global volunteerism and charitable giving.

Ron Niederman Humanitarian Award - Award for extraordinary and inspirational service to the national or international community via one's professional work or volunteer service.

Charles Stanley Hamilton Legacy Award - Award for extraordinary lifetime service that encompasses national volunteerism, professionalism and leadership.

It Takes a Village Award - Award is provided to an individual who goes above and beyond in uniting community and has demonstrated a unique ability to link those in need from the experienced bleeding disorder veteran to the newly diagnosed family.

TEA - Teach, Empower and Advocate Award - Award for outstanding national or global support and advocacy for women's bleeding disorders issues.

Leaders of the Future Award - Award for exemplary national service, leadership and integrity by a Teen or Young Adult under age 21 who demonstrates courage and promise.

Member Organization Spotlight Award - Award recognizing an HFA member organization with a true passion for service to their community. This award honors an organization who has created an environment within their membership that engages members, continually promotes education and consistently encourages self-advocacy.
