Saplings 2024-2025

The Saplings program at Fernbrook Farms is a play-based nature program for young learners aged 3-5, uniquely designed to provide the roots for lifelong learning and connection with nature. Saplings students spend much of their days outdoors, immersed in Fernbrook’s many diverse ecosystems. They’re encouraged to explore, inquire, experiment, discover, and challenge themselves. Saplings teachers join students in open-ended play, guide them in nature investigation, and deepen their learning with hands-on activities. We look forward to having your student join us!

Our Saplings program is intended to prepare kids for kindergarten. It is not a replacement for kindergarten. Students should be born after June 11, 2019 and before Sept. 3, 2021.
