Performance Series, world-class national and international music, theatre, and dance productions, symphony orchestras, and acclaimed solo and ensemble performers.

The Adventure Series, performing arts field trips, onstage collaborations, and artist-led classroom educational workshop activities for students and families.

East Alabama Civic Chorale, a 70-voice group of singing enthusiasts who enjoy learning and sharing fine music through weekly rehearsals at Southside Center For The Arts, and in performance venues across East Alabama.

East Alabama Community Band, a 50-member ensemble of instrumentalists who come from all walks of life and band experiences, rehearsing weekly and playing eagerly anticipated concerts in a variety of venues across East Alabama.

Readers Roundtable, in-character script reading and discussion focused on notable work by established and emerging playwrights.

Visual Voice events, rotating exhibits showcasing the work of local, regional, and national artists.

Youth Scholarships, financial assistance for students, grades 9-12, enrolled in schools throughout Lee County for participation in local, regional, and national music, theater, dance, and visual arts enhancement programs.

Kennedy Center Partners in Education, a partnership between ARTSOpelikaAAEA and Opelika City Schools, providing curriculum-based professional learning in the arts for teachers.

The Book Club events, a lecture and discussion series, with book signings by featured authors.

Southside Theatricals, staged readings, performances by The Frog Youth and Children’s Theater, and Railroad Repertory Theatre.

Live and Learn, classes and workshops in visual art, music, theater, and dance.

Membership Levels

Choose the amount of your tax-deductible membership support. Members will be listed by category in all printed event programs, and on the ARTSOpelika website at EastAlabamaArts.org. All members are eligible for single ticket discounts for Performance Series and Southside Theatrical events. Membership is included for all Performance Series season subscribers.
