Please complete the form and submit your payment using our automated system. You may also provide a check or money order made payable to The Town of Cottage City (3820 40th Avenue, Cottage City, Maryland 20722). Please pay by August 31, 2024 to avoid late fees.

Reminder: All businesses in The Town of Cottage City MUST FILE an annual personal property tax return with the Maryland Department of Taxation and Assessments. If your business has not done so for the 2023-2024 fiscal year, please contact SDAT at 1-888-246-5941.

"I understand, and acknowledge that the above information is correct and that the licensed or permitted actively will not violate any of the provisions of Section 5-7 of the Town Code regarding avoiding fraud, misrepresentation or knowingly giving false information in the application or carrying on the business, or violating the conditions of the license or a direct order of the police, or creating a public nuisance, cause of breach of peace, or danger to the public or interfere with the rights of abutting owners, or by allowing a health department authorization to lapse or otherwise conduct business in violation of the law or any ordinance."

If an establishment in Town has a county-issued liquor license, then the Town can charge a similar license fee of up to 1/2 the county alcohol license fee per state law but here the ordinance limits it to $250.00.
