Choose Your Own Adventure
On Thursday, June 20, following our 1pm concert at Metropolitan United, VIPs will have the opportunity to divide into small groups and "Choose Your Own Adventure" throughout the city. You will have dinner in your small group after your adventure and you have the option to do something else in the city, or come back to the hotel for swimming, basketball, and free time (as time permits before lights out). All adventures are chaperon-led.

Note: in an early in-person meeting, we raised the option of seeing a musical. We never want to disappoint you but we are not including that as an option below for two reasons. First, the dates of the show shifted so that the show now opens on the night we arrive and ticket prices are very expensive. Second, it's a touring show and is coming to DC. We want you to have experiences that are unique to Toronto!

Choose Your Own Adventure Activity Choices
1. Visit the Hockey Hall of Fame. Dedicated to the history of ice hockey, it holds exhibits about players, teams, National Hockey League (NHL) records, memorabilia and NHL trophies, including the Stanley Cup. You can even take your picture with the Stanley Cup!

2. Paddle the Humber River. Enjoy a 2-hour paddle (1.5 miles each way) down the Humber River to the Humber Bay and Lake Ontario where you can see the Humber Bay Arch Bridge, a Toronto landmark. Be on the lookout for wildlife including beaver, blue heron, deer, ducks, birds and more. More info: Humber River Kayak, Canoe & SUP Rentals | Toronto Adventures

3. *Art Workshop. Get creative in this custom art workshop, offered at Fresh Paint Studio. Participants will decide on one project for this 90-min. workshop: paint a canvas; design a Tshirt or tote bag; abstract paint pouring.

4. Visit the Art Gallery of Ontario. Toronto-born architect Frank Gehry redesigned the gallery to be a sculpture in its own right, and its collection contains more than 95,000 works of art, including a vast collection of Canadian art.

5. *Treetop Trekking. You'll travel outside the city center for a 3-hour high-ropes and zipline package. Think suspension bridges, Tarzan swings, climbing walls, and zip lines. See examples here. Note: Toronto traffic is tough, and it will take at least an hour to get from downtown to the trekking location. Also, Holly has been trying to reach the operator to confirm that they can do a late afternoon start yet. Hopefully, they can but it's not confirmed.

6. Island Vibes. Take the ferry to Ward's Island where you can relax on the beach, swim in Lake Ontario, play disc golf (bring your own disc) or rent a bike, kayak or stand-up paddleboard

7. Free time at the hotel. For VIPs who really want downtime, you can return to the hotel to nap, read, swim, and chill.

* Activities with an * have a minimum number of participants required. If we don't have enough interested VIPs, we won't be able to offer the activity and will go to your second choice.
