Thank you for your interest in College Champions! We pair classrooms of students in Philadelphia, PA. and Camden, N.J. with a volunteer student athlete mentor attending the University of Pennsylvania for a year-long mentorship focused on developing leadership and social emotional skills. Through monthly video lessons and several in-person classroom vists per year, College Champions encourages students to develop and practice character traits like goal setting, perseverance, healthy living.
Participating teachers receive planning support for incorporating College Champions into their existing curricula, helping them build a strong classroom climate without taking time away from academics. There is no fee associated with participating in College Champions because the program is funded by donors.
