Make a date in your diary for the return of the popular Riverside Run, and get ready to enjoy this superb scenic route through the Trent Washlands in Burton-upon-Trent.

Taking runners through the meadows, wetlands and woods which border the River Trent, this challenging and enjoyable 10km course is now in its third year and has raised thousands of pounds for St Giles Hospice. This year there is also a 5km course.

The Riverside Run will start at 9.30am on Sunday 16^thSeptember. Everyone who registers to take part in the event will receive a fundraising pack with sponsorship forms. There’s a £10 pound entry fee and participants must be aged 14 years or over.

Book early to avoid disappointment as there are only 300 places available!
