If you are giving notice, as a rule you must give at least one month’s notice on or before your rent due date and your contract cannot be ended any sooner than the initial contracted term.
ie If you have a 6 month agreement the earliest you could give notice would be on your rent due date on month five and you would vacate at the end of month six.
If you have been in the property for longer than six months you can give one month’s notice on or prior to your rent due date and vacate at the end of that month.
Rent must be paid in advance for as long as you are residing at a property.
Under no circumstances will your deposit be returned on the day you vacate
On vacating.... please could you drop all sets of keys, to our office with your forwarding address, confirmation of your current electricity / gas / water suppliers with meter readings and your bank details, to enable any deposit due, to be sent back to you.
Services ..... should be left connected and working at the end of the tenancy and where applicable an electric key and gas card should be returned with the property keys. In the event of these items not being available, the following approximate charges will apply and may be subject to change; New Gas Card - £8, New Electricity Key up to £40.
Marketing / Viewings .....If the property is now being advertised as available we will contact you to arrange appointments for viewings until keys are received as stated in your Tenancy Agreement
(3.30) Within the last two months of the tenancy to permit the Landlord or any person authorised by the Landlord at reasonable hours in daytime to enter and view the Property with prospective tenants or purchasers.
